Trans Global Projects managed the delivery of oversized and heavy cargo for a power generation project in Northern Ireland, coordinating DDP shipments from multiple origins across Europe and North America via the Port of Belfast – including four heavy lifts of up to 400 mt each and four dedicated vessel charters.

SCOPE OF WORK
DDP deliveries ex various origins inside EU and North America to a Power Plant via Belfast, Northern Ireland. Project consisted of 4 x heavy lifts up to 400 mt each and 4 x vessel charters within a period of 6 months. The transport included several bridge assessments and modifications.
It was the first time a convoy execution has been carried out in Northern Ireland. The generators were the heaviest items ever transported overland in Northern Ireland, which required considerable advance planning, liaison with local authorities and route planning by TGP’s experienced team over the course of several months.
