SCOPE OF WORK
Logistics services from EXW origins to Geelong, Victoria for over 45,000 cbm of cargo, including pipes and oversized modular units. Services included international freight, local transport, and Quarantine & Customs Consultancy for smooth Australian entry clearances.
Additional scope involved transporting three columns and reactors, including a 48 m x 3.5 m x 4 m splitter weighing 135 mt, from Gijon, Spain to Sattahip, Thailand.
To manage the high cargo volume from Thailand to Australia, TGP mobilised personnel to the Project Control Tower in Thailand to enhance communication. TGP finalised a customs duty mitigation plan, which ultimately saw the Project pay only 7.32% of the expected AUD 4.40m duty exposure.
